Guardian of the Crossroads (20"x26")

"Guardian of the Crossroads is a charcoal drawing that is intricately detailed by two different colours of Indian ink. This piece’s design was drafted in a university intro to drawing class, under the project “Surrealism”, but took me five months to arrive at a finished design. I was inspired by the annual Inktober events, in which artists across the globe participate in creating art pieces during the month of October in whichever style they practice. I had drawn several ‘haunting’ pieces during October, but this design enticed and intrigued me the most to continue developing until I came to this finished piece."
